#StopTheDropout

Support women in science

  • Historically, women have faced a number of obstacles to achieve recognition and success in science, including gender bias, discrimination, sexist remarks and even sexual harassment. These obstacles remain today. Yet, women have shown that they are necessary in every possible field of research. Their contribution to science is vital as we thrive to build a more sustainable, equitable and inclusive world.

We are asking everyone, those who believe in a fair and equal playing field for women and men, to join us in raising awareness on the challenges women face in STEM, supporting us as we work to break down barriers and shatter glass ceilings.

Watch and share our film with the hashtag #StoptheDropout -  let’s harness the full potential of the next generation of all scientific talents.

Since 1998, the Fondation L’Oréal, in partnership with UNESCO, is committed to empowering more women scientists to achieve scientific excellence and participate equally in solving the challenges facing humanity.
