The program, our convictions

We believe in beauty as a force for good. Inclusive beauty can help people build confidence, improve their wellbeing and reintegrate with society.

Improving lives through inclusive beauty

At the Fondation L’Oréal, we are convinced that beauty can play a central role in helping vulnerable, underprivileged or marginalised people to regain their self-esteem, develop confidence and improve their wellbeing. It can even help people rediscover their place in the society.

Through our Beauty for a Better Life programs, we partner with like-minded organisations to offer free beauty and wellness treatments to women undergoing physical, psychological or social suffering, focusing on both medical patients and vulnerable people from all walks of life. We also empower women to improve their lives and employment prospects through dedicated vocational beauty training.

For 92% of cancer patients, beauty and wellness treatments promote mental and physical wellbeing.
